Noah Carterson is arrogant, gorgeous, and a total a**hole.

I hate him, but I can't stop staring at his panty-melting hot body.

And the fact that Noah's father tried to ruin my mom's life makes things complicated.

When I get a job at the brand new campus movie theater, I find myself getting closer to Noah than I ever thought possible. He practically runs the place, and everyone that works there has a story about him. I can’t tell if I'm sick of his confident smile, or if I want him to do all the dirty things he whispers into my ear in the darkness of the empty theater.

Before, I never wondered what kind of person I am. But with Noah’s camera running, I’ll have to decide what makes someone good or bad before the film runs out.

This title contains mature content (explicit sexual situations and mature language), and is recommended for audiences 18+.

Filmed is a standalone, full-length novel.

Filmed An Alpha Bad Boy Romance City Series Book 3 edition by B B Hamel Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Rec'd a copy of this book for an honest review. I have read all of this author"s books, and loved them all!! Her books are well written and the characters are developed. This is the story of Noah and Linda, both college students at Temple in Philadelphia. There 1st meeting is when they bump into each other, Linda hitting the floor with her skirt riding up showing her polka dot undies, him not moving but spilling his popcorn(at the movies), his nickname through the book for her " Dots". Their romance has many twists and hurdles, friends 1st, he has to prove he's not a jerk!! The twists- a strong chemistry with a touch of hate/dislike, he's a bad boy with a playboy/ man-whore drug history (past and present) and she's a insecure good girl with doubts that a man like him could be into someone like her, and then there is the family history with their parents, just to start. They are both likeable and have issues, strengths and weaknesses that make them real and relateable. He's got a demanding/controlling jerk of a father, who threatens his trust fund when he steps out of line, so he embraces his bad boy with drugs and women. She's insecure about men and a good girl in life. Their story is not without bumps and curves in the road, read the book for the full story I highly recommend!! The book starts out slow but stick with it, it gets better and is highly addictive read. I hope their story is not over, I would like to see more of them and their friends, please write more about them thx for allowing me to beta read this book.
Noah and Linda are our 'Romeo and Juliet' of the book. Warring families aside, this was an incredibly touching story of two very likeable, relatable human beings full of the insecurities and weaknesses that all of possess. After a very literal bumpy first encounter for this hapless couple, their highly funny mutual attraction and friendship ensues and was an utter delight to read as they go from strangers to friends to lovers.

I found Linda to be incredibly relatable. I'm not sure that everyone has such an overactive internal dialogue but as a long term sufferer myself it made me fall in love with Linda's voice as you heard every little thought and feeling that ran through her mind. She could easily over react and over think many situations but it's nothing that so many of us aren't also guilty of. From her impulsive streak to her polka dot underwear there wasn't a thing unappealing about her.

"Every once in a while, when his guard was down, Noah gave me a glimpse into the person he might actually be. They were small moments, spread far apart, but they were there and they were important. I was pissed at him, but I didn’t hate him. I knew there was something more going on, but I was getting tired of having to work to strip off the extra layers of narrative and image to get at the core of him."

"I had no idea what to expect from him. I felt like I was meeting a new version of him every single time I saw him. I loved it, I realized. He was like a film with multiple endings, each equally interesting."

Noah was absolutely fantastic as a character. Hilarious, charming, over flowing with sexual innuendos but also with such a dash of sadness and humility. He could go from one emotion to another in the blink of an eye but he always held such an air of realism, of pain and such a resignation about himself that his switching from loveable self assured ladies man to the shy closed off self conscience boy made him irresistible.

"You can cast your net as wide as you want, you can look as far as possible, you can create the largest pool of people possible, but in the end you’re always stuck with those you’re closest to. You don’t always get to choose who that is, and sometimes they sneak up on you and appear in the frame. Regardless of what happens, you just keep coming back, you keep getting put into the same bit role and you love it because that’s who you are. You’re not acting when you’re playing yourself."

This was as another complete winner from B.B. Hamel that I devoured from start to finish in one sitting, only stopping occasionally to top up the mug of tea in front of me. At around two hundred pages in total, I couldn't believe how quickly the book flew by or how easily it sucked me in but both Linda and Noah were so easy to fall for and care about. For being shelved as another new adult book it also had so many little neat twists and turns that it became something so much more at the same time, a genuine breath of fresh air. The struggles and addictions were all handled superbly with care and knowledge and I love a book that incorporates the daft and funny things we can all get up to online with such a laugh aloud at yourself moment. B.B. Hamel as produced yet another fantastic book that is full of laughs, loves, sadness and happiness. A perfect blend of everything makes this an absolute joy to read and easy to lose yourself between the pages. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy romantic read but with plenty of substance and enjoyability. Because this differs so much from what B.B. Hamel has released before I can't wait to see what she dreams up next, thank you so much to her for giving me a copy of this to read.

I was very kindly provided with an ARC of Filmed by the author to read and review.
Ok
I enjoy this author's command of the English language! Her writing skills are wonderful, her characters are dynamic, and the story is easy to follow. Lots of fast moving action.
The book surprised me. The two main characters Noah and Linda have a hate/love relationship. You really can feel the emotions of both characters. I'm glad I hung in there til the end.
I really enjoyed this story. You fell for him. Loved her and how close she was with her Mom, that was so good to read about. And just basically enjoyed the closeness of all the players. Hope his dad learned something.👍🏻😜
I got to the point throughout this book where I wanted to just quit reading. I didn't though. The concept behind this book was wonderful it's the way it was presented that I didn't like. For the most part it's told via 1 POV. Leaving loads of thinking space throughout the entire book. I personally enjoy characters that interact as well as multiple POV's. So for the fact that I kept contemplating on quitting it gets my average. Sorry.
